wbmw, I know you are being sarcastic but the answer is no. Why would they do that? Intel can be profitable supplying 70-80% of them market when their asps are high. I think by adding plenty of cache to their cpus they may be able to differentiate them from Amd's cpus and maybe sell them for double ( or more ) of what AMD gets. There's no way AMD can fab 30% of the market if they had to follow Intel to 512K ( and maybe even 1Mb ) cache cpus for the desktop/mobile market.
