You've constantly got to check the longer time frames for the big picture. I like 60 and 120, and the daily. And there are so many countertrends going on, bearflags are usually made up up little bullflags in the upmoves! So you can hold on short for the bigger trend (such as a long term bearflag) or scalp the bullflag for 5 minutes inside it, as longer term patterns can take days to resolve.

I watch 1, 5, and 15 while in the trade too.

I just opened Teresa Lo's newsletter for this am. She spotted those bearflags on the 30 min and posted on them. She calls them STEALTH bearflags, as they are not forming in a downtrend.

So I am positioned for that longer term play, those flags, and ignoring the scalps that are presenting themselves this am.
