Get the facts from the horses mouth: Ex Enron employees

enronx.org

enronx.net

Most of the Enron employees have already lost their jobs. THey had a pink slip party in Houston over a month ago. YOu'll find references to it on one of their websites.

No............a far cry from half the population of Texas is employed by Enron. The former employees are angrier than anyone as they were they were misled along with many stockholders. SOme large, Wall St. firms were also misled and lost many millions. One wealthy, NY family lost over a billion dollars and they have hired over 100 attorneys to investigate.

ENron also attempted to hold the state of Ca hostage by manipulating energy reserves using illegal manipulation. The state of Ca is currently suing Enron for such. Bush backed off and refused to allow FERC to do it's job to establish reasonable rates while Cheney met with Enron's chairman to shape this country's energy policy............and you think we are blood thirsty???? Where were you when Ca was having blackouts? If this state hadn't conserved energy we would have a more serious economic problem as the state of CA has a huge economy and produces over 75% of the food consumed in the US. You would have been paying more for everything.

The conservation by the people of CA and the defection of Jeffords from the Republican party changed the course of history.

Texas kept Bush as Gov during the rise of Enron. Next time they should vote for the Democrat who will better represent labor and the interests of the little guy.
