One's environment (parenting, culture, etc...), combined with possibly somewhat random triggers (who knows what'll set certain people off at certain times? Why do identical twins often have different personalities?) causes a person to turn out the way they do. >And that's a leap of faith just as great, if not greater, than the leap required to believe in God. Except we can physically see genetics in action and say, "hey, that's genetics", and we can prove that genetics did certain things (Down's syndrome, for one), but we can't "prove" actions by God.
