If you are running a gold fund getting a management fee based on assets would you predict gold was going down or sideways ? Of course not, you would want assets under management in increase due to additional shareholders and an increase in underlying assets. Rarebird and I disagreed on many things, but he was right when he said everyone has an agenda. Here's another great article from those brillant folks at Forbes; forbes.com
