limtex. Earnings and earnings surprises are what move stock prices after the magic story has worn off. Clearly, the 1X has been further delayed 3 months or so and WCDMA is in Euro muddle land. Thus rapid earnings growht is a ways off. To boot, PE's have fallen generally this year and especially in tech stocks. The institutions are setting the price on QCOM an exuberant retail sales must wait for 1X magic and OLED color screens. Also, Verizon is displaying little innovation or sense of urgency and Samsung has even complained about how hard it is to have a new phone approved at Verizon (probably courtesy of the NOK duds Verizon prechased earlier). I can testify that Verizon's billing practices suck and they gouge their customers.
