I expect bad COT numbers. Plus lease rates are down. Plus we have an auction next week. So if gold gold and gold stocks DO NOT take a hit during the next few days, that would really be a man bites dog situation.

The shorts are probably the dudes at Anglogold that have the next decades production hedged at 281. -g- You would expect that they would like to try to control the price of golds ascent if possible.

They have the wind in their face though. The dollar looks set to come down and Greenspan's talk today set the stage imo.

Looking for a pull back early next week but its possible we continue up to 297 first.

good luck
M.
