Lee,

you should know by my posts that that is the cornerstone of my whole trading style... I traded the nq's for about six months trying to make a "big score" and after six months of trading my acct. was right where it started..every big score was followed by a big hit..and I just churned and burned....

now days I'm in and out of trades lightening fast..I'm making very consistent gains...limiting my losses in the strictest sense,, and immediately exiting any trade that I don't like the "feel" of....and I don't take nearly as many trades as I used to.. it has to feel right.

I shoot for quick four point scalps on my trades and try to add up two four ten or as many wins as possible while cutting the losers immediately.

I don't even bother trying for the big score.. But I make steady consistent gains....finally..
It took me about six months of churning to get here, but I'm happy with the results.. so I will keep it up, and maybe try to use some other tools to get the occasional big score.

I almost always move my stops to breakeven immediately too so if I'm in a good trade I bring my risk reward to favor the reward side as quickly as possible..

I don't care if they stop me out a million times a day.. commissions are only 2.40 per contract at IB...I can always find a better entry if my first one was wrong.
