The St. Petersburg Times cannot bring itself to tell the truth, whether in the news or the opinion section. You get the sense they can't tell the difference. Senility or bias, take your pick. Remember, current law allows record retention for people who illegally attempt to buy guns. It would also allow putting the name of every alien with a temporary visa, and every known illegal alien, into the FBI database of prohibited persons — since those people cannot buy guns lawfully.
