Well Susan has certainly been a solid student of the markets.. I'm willing to guess she's put in far far more hours in front of the computer than I ever have.

Herry, You might think about trying a futures acct. I used to trade stocks too, but found I can make way more money with less risk and less stress trading futures.. and there is never any event risk associated with a particular stock. The futures are amazingly liquid, and I rarely ever lose any on stops..

back when I was trading stocks and scalping large blocks, I used to get murdered on stops. I've lost as much as 7/8 of a point on a stop on 5000 shares.. it really used to suck.. but if I didnt use them, I often got hurt worse.

with a futures contract, the most I have ever lost on a stop is a half point which represents ten bucks per contract. and I rarely ever lose that. Usually my stop is filled at exactly my price, and I think I've had stops triggered and been filled at a better price more times than a worse price..

and I don't even get up when the market opens at all.. I hate the first hour...I avoid it almost always. and I'm starting to hate the last hour too..

just my two cents..

Another thing is....I've learned that the market always provides opportunity..ALWAYS> it doesnt matter one bit if the nq's run another ten twenty or fifty points after I'm out.. all I care about is stringing together more winners than losers and being able to do it consistently.

Of course I'm always trying to learn and improve.. but I've learned not to be greedy, and never worry about leaving money on the table.. just get yours off of it and you'll always be around to play the next round..

HAVE a SUPER weekend everybody....thanks to everyone for the comraderie and all the sharing.
