His point was (or at least my point would be if I had posted the data) that a lot of democrats took money from ENE. Yes maybe the Republicans got more money from this particular company then the Democrats but the Dems will raking it in hand over fist as well. If taking money from ENE is a scandal then the Dems are right in there with the Republicans.

But if taking money from ENE is a scandal why not from other companies that have gone bankrupt? And what's special about bankrupt companies? Why wouldn't pols that had taken money from any company be considered objects of scandal? After all if they recieved government benefits they are less likely to go bankrupt so maybe we should look here for scandal. And why just companies, why not unions and professional organizations?

Unless you are going to call accepting political contributions a scandal there is no scandal here. And if you are going to go there then you would have to call for the removal of 99.99% of the all politicians.

Of course there are some people who would call that a good thing. <g>
