As far as I can see he's just digging himself in deeper, Hal. If you're looking for proven repair strategies, I'd suggest you read one of the books by McMillan, Thomsett, or Roth that are linked to the thread header.

There are so many.

Osama Bin Laden is still on the loose, the Nasdaq Comp is still 60% off its highs, 4Q2001 estimated tax payments are due on Tuesday, options premiums are unreasonably low, Aunt Nancy's decided we need new windows and crown molding, I haven't been able to break 90 for the last 2 years, and I need to lose 20 pounds but I just quit smoking and am gaining instead.

On the other hand the family is healthy, the kids are out of college and employed, and I still have a little romance in my life after 30 years of marriage, and I haven't had a smoke in 5 weeks, so I'll consider myself blessed.
