Now how this effects President Bush I haven't the foggiest

A lot of it affects Cheney and his meetings with Enron. There are a couple of questions that don't pass the sniff test very well. Would O'Neil really get a request to bail out Enron who he knew was Bush's biggest supporter and not mention it to his boss. This was about the time that O'Neil was rumored to be on the way out. why? Second, right after dancing by Lay at the inaugural party, financed by Enron, Bush decided to let the Californians sit in the dark or pay vastly inflated prices to Enron. Were it not for Grey Davis's couragous leadership in that crisis Enron may have avoided bankrupcy on the backs of the bay watch crowd. Was the secret energy policy a bail out Enron policy?

TP
(And question 3, where is Cheney and why isn't he explaining himself)

Do you think Bush will get an apology from the media for the hysteria they caused? Doubtful.

I don't know what happened at Enron, but I doubt it was illegal, although probably unethical. As for Arthur Andersen, I think they have lost some emails, but not the working papers. Probably not very serious, but I have been wrong before.
