So I can’t resist expanding on Mr. McTeer’s “alcoholic” analogy

<< Argentina, like many nations (and certainly the U.S. to this day), borrowed in excess when the marketplace was overly accommodative. >>>

I'll just bet that they were "over accomodative"
What sh*t---- I'll bet these banksters were taking out their banksters and wining and dining and cajoling and ramming money at them....
Now the poor average Argentinian Ass*ole is a deadbeat.. The same guy who got SFA out of this "we love you so much" money-----

One of my pals went to a hockey game recently---- A credit card company was there offering free hockey T-Shirts if you signed up.. He thought that he would like to give a t-shirt to his son, and perhaps a credit card with a $500 limit would be good to use on Internet purchases.
So--- He put $500 on his application..
Fast forward 3 or 4 days---- Open the mail, and there's credit card with a $15,000 limit---
He phoned the bank to complain about this High Limit, ho ho ho----
They settled at 5 G's.....
What A Country!---ho ho ho
