I think that was the going rate then - $200 for a lifetime membership. I have no idea if they still have this or not.

And of course the Old Guard - who got it for free!

Lazarus, The going rate for a life time membership is still, $199.95. Those that are "grandfathered" in for free, are, in most cases, those that stuck around when SI was having all kinds of trouble with their site. The free membership was a bonus for their patience.
