Glenn, last year was a tough year for Bezos while he was driving his little Honda. Remember his base salary is only $100,000.
I figure $30 million after long term capital gains isn't bad especially since we've been in a recession.


It is really great pay for running a firm that is almost 7 years old and has 28 consecutive quarters of losses.

Do you recall when he made the statement many years ago on CNBC that he would never sell a share of Amazon stock until the firm was profitable?
