Re: "IBM used to sell PCs, and now that they've "learned" your lesson, they don't. Gateway, now that they're an exclusive Intel property, has accelerated their journey down the toilet. I imagine you'll be seeing them in the sewer soon, you'll be glad for the company I suppose."

What companies have prospered from going 100% AMD?

Winnie - IBM SELLS tons of Intel PCs and servers. Since you have a reading comprehension problem - IBM is now outsourcing the MANUFACTURE of its Intel based systems. It is still selling Intel based PCs, servers and ITanium servers !!!

And Gateway looks to be profitable this quarter - on its way to recovering from massive LOSSES sustained due to the use of AthWipers in their failed PCs lines.

Remember - no PC manufacturer that uses AMD AthWipers is gaining market share !!!

You working late tonight to help get the Hamster taped out this decade?

Winnie, Re: "IBM used to sell PCs, and now that they've "learned" your lesson, they don't."

IBM stopped selling PCs? Maybe you should tell them that so that they can stop printing them erroneously on their web page.

commerce.www.ibm.com (100% Intel based PCs!)
