1.73 GHz should relate more to 2100+. AMD officials declared that TBred is just a die shrink without adding more cache. There are, however, persistent rumors that a MP version of TBred could indeed have 512 K L2. So, maybe, a 1.73 MHz MP with enlarged cache might be called 2200+.
