Doren -

Since you asked, to enable the Remote Desktop feature in Windows XP, go to Start, right-click on "My Computer", select "Properties", and click on the "Remote" tab at the top of the window.

You should see a screen that offers two checkboxes one of which (the lower one) allows you to enable Remote Desktop, while the other enables the sending of Remote Assistance requests. Once these features are enabled you can send an e-mail or instant message to another Windows XP user inviting them to connect to your computer.

This is certainly a very useful feature, though it does create potential security problems.
