Makes you wonder by Bin Laden didn't have a series of container bombs in place before Sept. 11, designed to go off all over the country every few days over several months. It would be easy to do.

The fact that nothing like that has happened when it would have been a snap makes me think we are not likely to face a large-scale threat there.

We can think up a dozen other ways that terrorists could wreak havoc today (highways, sports stadiums, shopping malls, movie theaters, etc.) - but almost nothing since Sept.11.

I don't have the exact number but I am sure more planes crashed by accident in 2001 than the three brought down by terrorists.

Over time, people adapt to what does or doesn't happen, even when the "what ifs" scare them momentarily.
