Thanks John
There is still not much new in the market or in Dell:
Here is post #01 on Dell in1996 at which time .......................
Dell was $1.0278/sh, now 29+. a gain of 2734 %
Cpq was $7.19/sh, now 11.45, a gain of 59%
Hwp was $22.88/sh, now 22.9 a gain of zero%
Ibm was $27.4 sh, now $120.6, a gain of 340%
(This should help people decide whether its best to invest in Cpq, Hwp, Dell, or nothing)

The man is a seer, hes even guessed the price real close ($28) 6 years ago<g>

<<<I'm optimistic long term on Dell. I think the company is
taking market share away from Compaq (and the likes). Dell
has been in a $6 trading range since the last quarter earnings
announcement. It won't go below $28 but can't sustain $34.
There has been nothing but bad news from computer makers for several
months now. But Dell is growing with strong overseas sales
and, again, is taking market share away from Compaq. I will not
be adding to my position until the sector's news turns for the
better. Besides, there is money to be made elsewhere right now.>>>

To salute these fabulous forecasters, here are familiar names and their first Dell posts....
Jimmy Protsenko post 125, June 27 1996
Brennon Dell post 146, July 25 ,1996
David Weis post 179, Aug 15, 1996
Pat McDaniel post 197, Aug 30,1996
And by September add Paul Reuben,Jim Kelly, John Koligman, Victoria Gates, and John Hauser
Then Rosemary
Cheers
