In all honesty and in all seriousness, Tyan's dual Athlon system running Windows 2000 is the first really stable Intel platform since Netware 386 on a 386 or 486 - things seemed to go downhill about the time Pentium came out, but that was probably more software than hardware.

Remember Netware? The management console had an entry prominently displayed that read how many days it had been up. We used to commonly see servers go for over a year between shutdowns.
