not to be disagreeable, but there is no way IBM doesn't hit it's earnings. they are always rumored to miss and never do. with the FED behind them and the economy (supposedly) on the rebound, they will beat the consensus, low balled earnings estimates. as for earnings taking a shelling in general, just take a look at the negative preannouncement #'s compared to last year. they are telling everyone what to expect. this earnings season is a lock. sorry, st
