Funny how in this society, you are allowed to curse out the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, but make one mention of the N-word and you have to answer to hell. The Point Z of worship is praising the God that granted us with our life and the universe. We also believe that Death on earth is just the beginning of Eternal Life after being resurrected. Or it could be Eternal Damnation to Hell were one can suffer forever with Lucifer. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it all. Life on Earth is a journey to discover the Truth and to be aware of one's sins and to try to improve yourself and the lives of others so that they discover the Holy Trinity and the Resurrection. M.

Well, the point is, that if he can't do anything about it, he's either not really omnipotent, or doesn't exist at all, so why bother worshipping him? If he can do something about it, but doesn't, well then he's an a**hole and, heck, let's forsake that bad boy. Z, you want God to be an indulgent parent always bailing his children [us]out when they get into trouble. However, its been proven over and over again that indulgent parents beget spoiled, self centered adults. Maybe God knows what he is doing. ;~)) ted
