ok. well when i saw that april downdraft and reversal in 2000, i knew there was no way the market would recover while al was tightening. from that point, i shorted the market the entire year. my 'tell' was al flipping his hat. i'll leave the fundamental causes to those more intelligent than i.

are you saying that there is no possible policy structure out there to prevent the economy from serious decline?
or are you saying that a deflation of financial assets is unavoidable?
