Actually there is a problem.

I'm all for the girls having equal rights, pay, jobs, promotions etc, but a problem has emerged.

In the good 'ol days dad went to work and earned the dough to pay all the bills, mom stayed at home, did the housework and looked after the kids.

Now both Mom and Dad work and property prices have doubled. No way can a single working parent pay the bills while the other looks after the kids and the domestic scene (whether it's mom or dad).

So some guys made some money in the short term on property prices and thats it.

Everybody else loses. Kids lives are the most important, work suffers from worry.

Any chance you could translate that into:

- public education
- prenatal care for women, for the future macho hawks, minimizing early braindamage
- healthcare for those babies (any progress on the 9-15 year debate in US, sperm counts??)
- pension for the parents

When will the FPTP-winner-take-all-single-seat-system of USA wake up to the
stronger part of familiy values and genes??

Interesting how election systems can tweak a culture
