Are you telling me that Enron falsely told the employess they cannot sell the stock or in some way placed a trade block on it?

That is criminal actions, IMO. To the wolves and make the operators of Enron disgorge, as well as go to jail for many years.


Bill, they placed a freeze on all employee 401s for a specified period of time where the stock could not be sold. I am sure mgmt purpose was to try and slow the descent of the stock in order to keep the company's valuation up for financial reasons. I don't know if freezing an account is illegal under the law but I consider it criminal in light of ENE's filing bankruptcy. This is after upper mgmt had taken care of themselves financially.
