Intersting that the situation changed in 1989, when any russian who could get some certificates could immigrate to only one rwellcoming non-russian nation?? Btw, our own, beloved domestic "jews" usually have their roots in the Russia of the 1800s, one of the few european-western regions which did not use the regular regulations of those times, Russia with something like 500 ethnic groups anyway. It is getting more fun with the reminding accusations that both Lenin, Stalin and most of them all were "jews", one reason religious definitions were not that popular in regular sovjeticus pragmaticus but grew wild elsewhere, at that time of history.
