yes mike no argument. i was merely pointing out that the depression had more to do with inappropriately restrictive policies post crash, then the actually crash itself. would we have had a crash in 1929 had Strong not been so liberal with money, probably not.

to be factually accurate, there were depressions in 1837, 1857, 1873 and 1893. all associated with stock market crashes, and all occurred before the existence of the FED.

the same type of shennanigans and chicanery that are happening now, happened back then as well. like i say, nothing ever changes, there is no new paradigm, this time is no different than the last. my favorite is hearing someone say how much worse it is this time than the last.
