Constantine, Re: "So I suggest to you to post to your buddy Paul NOT to make silly posts about the Tbred not gaining enough from .13 and then pretend that the NWood gained so much from the .13 process."

It looks like you missed the point Paul was trying to make. The top Northwood frequency at launch was 2.2GHz (a 10% increase over the top speed of Willamette), but the top expected Thoroughbred launch frequency is said to be 1.73GHz (which is only 3.6% over the top speed of Palomino). Not only that, but Northwood's next launch will be at 2.4GHz (20% over the top speed of Willamette), but the roadmap for Thoroughbred (according to Paul) says 1.8GHz (only 7.8% over the top speed of Palomino). Now, it's quite possible that Paul is wrong, and Thoroughbred reaches higher speeds, but if not, then Paul might be somewhat justified in gloating about Intel's better .13u process. Here's Paul's link again, in case you need to remind yourself what he said.

Grub - Re:"Do we know if the Tbred will have downbinned parts to 22%"

We know that the eXPloder is downbinned right now all the way from 1.6 to 1.2 GHz.
