Most of that IPC improvement will come from integrating the memory controller on-die. There may also be some improvement in overall performance with apps recompiled for x86-64, which will probably lead to good SPEC scores.

Has the Hamster taped out yet?

When it gets to first silicon let us know what frequency it uses. Also let us know if th Hamster can boot an OS, any OS. Even an unstable OS
