Who's Eddie Vedder?

Lead singer for Pearl Jam... good stuff! :)

Z, agreed...they played up here for a while. I just couldn't remember where I had heard the name and how it related to God. ;~))

Just because we can't explain such phenomena, doesn't mean there isn't a logical reason for them...

See my post siliconinvestor.com;

If that post is your explanation, then I don't think you understood my response to that post. The voice that warned me of the impending accident came from outside me...it was separate from me. And it was distinctly a voice, not a thought...a genderless voice. It did not come from within in my brain. The two examples I read about were exactly the same.

I would not expect anyone to believe me.......I don't think I would believe anyone who told me of such an experience. I only speak of it now because other people have publicly said the same thing. Nonetheless, I do not believe science will ever be able to solve it away. I suspect there is something else at work.......something along the order of Frederik Jung's million year old man.........the collective unconscious. Whatever! I don't know the answer but I don't believe that everything in this world can be explained matter of factly.

One last thing.......the most interesting aspect of the warning is that it was absolutely useless. Even if you could watch in your rearview mirror 24/7 [which of course is not possible], the likelihood of preventing the accident from happening in downtown traffic is virtually nil. So I have wondered why that particular warning. It would seem that it was pretty much a waste. FWIW.
