they changed their name because two sides of the company split in an arbitrated settlement creating two distinct companies... accenture went public last year... there is no relationship I can see, particularly since accenture's primary business is not in the accounting side.

IMO you are hitting the nail on the head. ACN grew out of the same culture as AA. In many cases similar training. Those that have worked with ACN consultants realize this.

However ACN at least gets to dodge a piece of this bullett.
