By postponing the tax cuts the economy may recover and we can go back to eliminating the deficit which will allow a meaningful tax cut in the future. So you see, it is the democrats who are proposing lowering your taxes.

Maybe Bush's fainting spell was the result of a brain conflict between fiscal responsiblity and his "over my dead body" pledge.
