We confess to being puzzled by the strength of the recent market rally given the lack of bullishness by corporate investors. We went back and checked historic data and could not find any major market turning point where corporate investors did not lead - or at least were coincident to the rally.

This is from a trimtabs report that JM posted on the ewave thread. It's just an example of one of the many "conditions" that seem almost impossible to account for in totality when trying to talk about the probability of a certain event based on past history.
