re: 3G UMTS-compliant Test Mobile (Qualcomm)

Ugly Sucker! <ggg>

Seriously, ugly doesn't matter at this stage. Nice to see they will show it.

I just looked at the preliminary list of exhibitors for CeBIT 2002 (Wednesday, 13th March to Wednesday, 20th March 2002). No Qualcomm again.

Maybe the chip will be in someone's phone there. I suspect that we will see product releases for 3GSM mobiles at CeBIT 2002, but don't expect same at GSM World Congress

BTW: I mentioned elsewhere the Lucent VitalSoft connectivity monitoring and diagnostic tool I use that didn't work with XP. New version just posted and it does work with XP but it has been dumbed down a bit (traceroute and ping tools removed and not able to upload logs to ISP) but still a great piece of freeware:

myvitalagent.com

Very handy and worth every penny it doesn't cost.

Best,

- Eric -

That display looks really depressed, sorrows weighting down from both above and below??

A little agressivity left in that V-like blue color frame.

More interesting how that little display can be filled up with 384kbps, what is
the pixel resolution???

Ilmarinen

What is that antenna doing in the right corner??
