Jane, >> It also helps regarding PVN that strong rumours persist that Household Bank will buy them out!! <<

HA! I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me.

I don't use any fundamental analysis, or read any news articles on the stocks I trade using technical analysis.

I know most people will think that is crazy, but that's the way it is. The human mind is a funny thing. We allow things to bias our thinking process when someone throws a dash of emotion or a tablespoon of doubt into our thought process. We are then forced to form opinions, most often on things we don't have enough knowledge of, and then we subconsciously defend those opinions when the call goes against us. In addition to that, fundamentals and news are already reflected in the prices. We don't have an advantage over the next guy on when to get the jump. We often have to get in early and wait for the fundamentals to catch up, wasting valuable funds as it sits lying there, doing nothing.

Technical analysis allows me to trade what I see, not what I think or feel. I could see the moving averages rising. I could see the momentum indicators rising. I could see that the price had higher lows and was in the process of higher highs. I could see that the price was getting ready to go up.

Smart money was already on the job and I jumped in line to get my share's worth. The accuracy and timing were impeccable, if I must say so myself. Got some more of these stocks in my sights.

Steady ..... steady .....
