Eric,

I suspect that many of the early 1xRTT phones offered by PCS will in fact be flash upgradable to support 1xRTT data services, but that would be a gamble.

From reading a statement on the Qualcomm thread, I was under the impression that this phone/chipset combo is not upgradable to 3G data.
