Well, isn't this a subdued thread?

One bad day after a 6 week unbroken run, and we're all talking about a return to re-testing lows. The truth is that no one knows exactly how much "ready to deliver" silver is out there. Those who have physical guard the amounts carefully. It's in their interests.

Bear markets end and bulls begin in exactly this fashion, mysteriously, and with quick corrections on any early rises. Look for silver to find a new (and higher than $4.00) footing, with investor interest slowly trickling in. There is still very little speculative activity in spot silver. Volumes are low.

If silver fundamentals were good last week, they're still good today. I don't care what the bears say. The fact remains that mine production is not keeping up with demand. You can recycle and draw down from stocks all the silver you want. Eventually, the game ends.

This might not be THE rise, but it has to happen eventually.
