Didn't say there was.

Just the fact that Lay and Bush were friends makes it a problem for the administration. Perception is everything.

I don't think anything untoward was done and Yes, the admin appears to have refused help. However, the media thinks there is something fishy and they will harp on it for a loooong time.

I think it's funny some Dems want to hang this on the Repubs soooo bad, and some of their cronies are wishing they'd shut up, because they are knee deep in it, too.

One of the things that I am seeing is that it was being implied that GWB did something wrong WRT ENE and now that it is apparent that GWB didn't respond to their pleas for help, he is being blamed for knowing that the company was in trouble and *not* doing anything about it.
