Bonus, I looked at Bush's pic; that abrasion on his cheek looks like a rug burn to me. Remember the last accident prone president, Gerald Ford, he was also born under the sign of Cancer. It was actually his wife - the Betty Ford Center gal - who had the drinking/drug problem.

bia, You laugh too soon. If you knew about the human anatomy in the are of the face, you would realize that the bruise is centered at the top of his cheel bone. This is a sharp bone, and the skin is very thin at that point. A bruise, like was shown in the photo, is quite common in falls that appear to be unable to cause any inflamation at all.

You can be assured that, if Bush were drinking, it would have become common knowledge by now. Just like your buddy, Tiger Paw, you post rumors, and innuendos, without an ounce of proof to back up your hollow laugh.

As far as popularity goes, 86% ain't bad.

George Will calls W "Clintonian" in today's paper...

...."Indignation is a precondition for whatever new laws and regulations are required to prevent behavior such as Enron's. It has been said that the absence of honest emotion is the shared characteristic of American politics and professional wrestling. One would like to hear from President Bush, regarding Enron's executives, the sort of anger he expressed over the possibility that the crybaby Secret Service agent whose behavior caused an American Airlines pilot to bar him from a flight might have been a victim of illegitimate profiling.

"Instead, we have heard Bush's slippery -- Clintonian, actually -- assertion that Enron's CEO, Ken Lay, "was a supporter of Ann Richards in my run in 1994" for governor. Well, yes, but no. Lay contributed to Richards. And he contributed much more to Bush."
