Let's presume when he fell, his glasses were pushed to the side of his face, which slid on the carpet when his limp body pushed forward on the floor, thereby causing the abrasion. Without testing it out, I can't say for sure. Hmm. I guess we need a forensics expert. Sadly, it was Kitty Dukaukis (sp) who drank the rubbing alcohol. I wonder what happened with them. Olympia, as you probably know, George's sis is an Academy Award winning actress.

While your replies seem a bit cruel, I also did not think it looked like a rug burn or a injury caused by his glasses. It looked more like a liesion due to cancer. The President has had other benign growths removed recently. Given the current conflict perhaps someone decided that there was a downside to providing the public with details about his health. The absence of any other marks on his face is what appears strange to me.
