Many of your words have shown that you understand where Arafat is coming from, but I still do not think you have understood the implications of your own words

Perhaps, but I just see a complicated problem in simple terms...For example... To get a company working efficiently you have to get all the employees thinking, but after decisions are made all the "magnets" (employees attitudes, from the top down) are all lined up in the same direction. Ones that remain pointing stubbornly in other directions are discarded.

Maybe I am suggesting proposing peace (appeasement) to see if this provokes a more serious series of attacks on Israel. Sure men, women, and children are killed and mutilated, but it's a war. Let's face it, it's happening.

In the case of Israels problems, if it wants a lasting peace, it has to suffer until plainly the majority of the world its on it's side. Worthy of support. This means it seriously proposes peace, and willing to allow the Palestinian people to live in peace too. There is little sign of that to be honest. In fact the record shows, Israel is deliberately creating a low level war, and no Palestinian is safe, they can wake up in the morning and find their land and property confiscated.

There was a serious peace effort, but the Isreali's killed Rabin, a war hero, to stop it.

Then we hear all about Arafat, but the Israeli's just beat up his helicopter. My view, if Oslo was serious, and he broke it, he should of been discarded already.

Nope, there is no plan for peace yet. Just manoeuvring imho.

First Israel has to put forward a peace plan it will stick to, then that has to be discussed with the Palestinians and other world leaders. Until then the Israeli armed forces have a free hand to control the terrorists or not.
