The CC4D thread header reads in part:This is the place to post your thoughts, questions, and comments on how to use covered calls to generate enhanced yields from your tech investments. The thread is geared, as its title suggests, to beginners and/or those interested in relatively simple and straightforward strategies. We hope that polite, honest discussion of our plans, successes, and failures will sharpen our investing skills and teach us how to harness the volatility in our portfolios. Specifically this means that I wish to discuss how to use Covered Calls to extract improved yields from our (generally) long-term tech portfolios. I've steered that focus to the tech stocks you'll find listed in the G&K Candidates example portfolio. Popular candidates for discussion are NTAP and QCOM for example. Stocks, indexes, and option strategies outside the narrow realm I've just described are of little interest to me and are generally defined as Off-Topic (although I occasionally indulge the Regulars' peccadillos <g>). An excellent exercise to help you understand the focus of this forum would be to go back and read the first 400-500 posts. They were great and really kicked off things with some terrific discussions. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. If you have any questions about what I've just explained, please feel free to PM me. Best regards, --FaultLine Head Dummy , CC4D <:o)
