OT ... I have not seen dem Bears this year, but I will be rootin' for them ... I don't have much interest in pro sports anymore, and I have disliked the Patriots almost since the beginning of the AFL in 1960 ... ... my favorite Pats moment was after they beat the LA Raiders in the LA Coliseum in the playoffs in 1986 and Matt Millen (PSU) smushed one of the Sullivan boys (owner's son) in the face with his helmet ... splash blood - heh heh ... I still have the photo ... the Sullivan lad had been on the field during the entire game cursing the Raiders, and followed that up by stupidly walking with the teams going toward the exit tunnel ... I'd guess he said something not nice to Matt and got creamed ... it was wonderful ... ... having grown up in the Boston area watching all of the home and away games of the NY Giants in the mid 50s to early 60s, I am still a Giants fan at heart ... and the few times I saw them this year, they were awful ... Kerry Collins included ... ... hoping Penn State will be better next year in f-ball ... although we play Nebraska at home fairly early which might be bad ... ... I think the PSU hoops men's team finally won their 1st Big 11 game recently ... squeeked by some team from Madison, Wisconsin <G> ... Ken Wilson ... only been to New Orleans once ... the 1982 Sugar Bowl vs Herschel Walker's Georgia Bulldogs ... final (I think) was Penn State 27 Georgia 23 ... "we're #1" ... at last, said SI - and all us alums ... a great weekend ... tickets came at the very last minute courtesy of a friend in the office of the PSU President at the time ... very lucky to have gotten them ...
