If you have ever been to a PCS store, you would agree the only information you can get about the phone is printed on the card in front of you.

Obviously, you have done so much research on Qualcomm that your opinion is clouded by your economic interests. Most people that walk into a PCS store don't own a share of Qualcomm, so they don't share your zeal for 3G or CDMA2000 phones.

A diaappointed consumer is a good consumer. That means they have high enough expectations to want more. They will be back to the store in 12 months to buy the next phone upgrade. Disappointed Microsoft customers have been replacing their computer operating systems for the past decade. Maybe PCS should not deploy CDMA2000 at all and wait for 1xEV. Nah, it's time to play the game and get some momentum rolling for the next 2 to 5 year up cycle for CDMA sales.
