then it looks likes we have to head straight down at open right (either gap down, or flat open and bottom falls out)

If the c goes much lower it could be nasty, or the correction could become complex. The reason I count 5 waves is because I believe we are in the c of 4 from the all time highs. If that is correct a 5 down of larger degree lies ahead.
