Mike, in the broadest analysis. Money is a power to focus the direction of many. If many are working efficiently the there is growth. Money get distributed all over the place and if it is in the hands of the smart then there is more growth. If money is in the hands of the not so smart well effect to create growth is greatly deluded.. The Government is a dumb user of money. The billions in surplus represent money being taken away from those who can use it and giving it to the government who are not to bright at using it the create growth. If uncle pays down debt then the money is taken out of circulation and it is dead. If uncle spends on whatever boondoggle programs then basically the not to bright are given hand outs to do nothing. So the surpluses were a suction of money out of the hands of those who create wealth and use money efficiently and a giving it to the wasteful US gov. A tax cut restores more money to those who use it efficiently and removes it from the gov sinkhole. Did the failure of the demo retard party to understand this simple universal fact lead to creating a surplus and it's deadening effect on the growth of the economy??? dashie is the most financially, technically and common sense retards in Gov today or just the typical dem clintoid pile of dishonest fecal matter. That goes for the entire dem party who follow the stupid prattle or lies of dashie.
