AMD typically carries a lower PE ratio than Intel. AMD is currently 44 and Intel is at 65.

The old fundamentalists used to do an average PE over time and sell and buy at deviations above and below it but in the last few years that kind of went out the window.

wanna bmw, RE: I hope that a few more billion dollar quarters will convince even the critics that Intel's stock has room to grow along with the market.

If all Intel can do is a billion a quarter a few more times then you will soon see the 50% drop that you thought could have only been preceded by a depression.
