We use words in various senses. When I say I love ice cream and I love God I may be using the same word but different meanings are involved. So while I would say without hesitation that murder is wrong I do not mean it in the sense that I expect it to incur divine wrath and judgement, eternal damnation, etc.

I regard murder as wrong in two senses. First, that it is contrary to our common values as expressed and codified in our laws, and second that it does not serve Who We Are. We exist in a co-created reality so it should not be surprising that murder carries highly nontrivial consequences. But if each of us are immortal souls then in a sense while we can experience harm we really cannot be harmed. Hence, even if I am "murdered" I have no desire for "retribution" against my "murderer".

What is true for us is a fortiori true for God. Humans consider conspiracy to commit murder a crime because murder is considered a grave harm. But simply disliking someone is not a crime because we distinguish between actual harm, likely harm, and imagined harm. Therefore again we must ask if God cannot conceivably be harmed then what is there to judge?
